This hot drama revolves around Shisuke Kuwano (Hiroshi Abe) who is a man that can't get married. He is handsome and successful in his career as an architect. He has his own company and employees. He also has great taste in food, wine, art and music. So, why can't he get married?

The problem lies in his personality. He is too self-centred and aloof. He has too much pride in himself. His mother keeps urging him to get married, but he just wants to be alone so that he can enjoy the more sophisticated things in life.

Two women come into his life and make him change eventually from a man who can't get married to a man who can get married: Michiru Tamura is athe tenant of his neighbouring apartment; Natsumi Hayasak is a doctor in the hospital in which his brother-in-law works; and Maya Sawasaki who works in the housing industry is giving a tour of a house Shinsuke designed.

The series swept six awards at the 50th Drama Academy Awards including the awards of Best Drama, Best Script and Best Leading Actor.
