今集《迷》第二輯大結局。傑明知米高背叛了他們，依然在他的帶領下走進叢林，但米高無法忍受互相猜疑的折磨，終承認是殺了Anna和Libby。Hurley無法相信米高是殺死其至愛的兇手，便離隊獨自跑回營地，不願進行毫無作用的復仇。
另一方面，留在太空艙的洛及Desmond，在電腦前靜待倒數，此時Desmond突然憶起從前一宗意外，堅信一切為神跡的Eko亦於此時出現，企圖阻止洛......
Jack and Sayid come up with a plan to rescue Walt from "The Others," and Locke makes a dangerous decision regarding the hatch.
After discovering something odd just offshore, Jack and Sayid come up with a plan to confront "The Others" and hopefully get Walt back. Meanwhile, Eko and Locke come to blows as Locke makes a potentially cataclysmic decision regarding the "button" and the hatch. |

在上一集葬禮中，真發現了一艘帆船，傑、薩伊、梭也立即趕去查看究竟。他們竟在帆船上發現早已離開小島的Desmond。傑等人立即帶Desmond回到小島上。薩伊認為這艘船能幫助他們實現作戰計劃。
洛見到Desmond後，以為能從他的身上得到有關解開太空艙之謎，但看來他跟所有人一樣迷失。洛依然決定冒險，企圖要和Desmond一起守在即將到數完成的電腦前。與此同時，米高帶領傑等五人向叢林進發……

太空艙的悲劇過後，米高又再慫恿阿傑救其兒子出來。阿傑不允許營地成員受到「The Others」的威脅，無奈地要與「The Others」開戰。
當埋葬了Libby與Anna，作戰計劃亦開始部署，米高決定這次作戰計劃由他作指揮，儘管傑克等人反對，米高仍堅持只派五個人作戰，而且由他挑選五名成員。而五名被逼作戰的成員，不知這次作戰是個陷阱，而米高亦有可能背叛了他的朋友。
