愛麗因病留在家中休息，在重看一舊電影時她突然回到60年代並看到片中喜劇夫婦Henry和Abilgail的幕後生活……祖如為藥物令愛麗神志不清，但愛麗卻堅信該夢景背後有其原因並私自展開調查。原來Abilgail被謀殺的背後可能與其親夫無關，相反，謀殺Abilgail另有其人。愛麗的調查讓她發現原來Abilgail的助手Dorothy可能與案件有關，但Dorothy原來亦與Henry有一段非比尋常的關係，到底誰才是Abilgail 的真正殺人兇手？
When Allison comes down with a common cold, her medicine allows her to hear and see uncommon things. While watching one of her favorite TV shows from the 60's, Allison is able to tap into the minds of the actors, and reveal the real death behind the leading lady.
Sick at home, Allison spends her days watching re-runs of an old favorite comedy of hers and ends up dreaming herself into the past where she participates in the behind-the-scenes lives of her favorite comedy couple, Abilgail and Henry. When Allison tells Joe about her dream, he reassures her it is only a reaction to her medicine. Allison is convinced the dreams mean something since in real life Henry had been accused of Abilgail's murder and was serving a life sentence. Through her dreams Allison discovers that a third player was involved in the death of Abilgail, her personal assistant Dorothy. To Allison's surprise, Dorothy had also been having an affair with Henry. |
